He bagged groceries at BI-LO and enjoyed spending time with his family. He played football and basketball but was remembered for his music.

In his free time, he wrote his own songs; he was a skilled rapper under the name “Young Beast.” He posted a message on Facebook: “I put my heart into this music hoping one day that u hear it.”

“I know you singing in the sky,” one person wrote in his obituary guestbook. Alex Lee Tisdale, 17, was shot and killed in his driveway on Feb. 5, 2019 in Cordesville, South Carolina.
