Addisyn Grace Shetterly

Age 9

LaFollette, Tennessee

She loved to sing in church

Her church was her community. Each week, she would smile as the music swelled and her voice joined the crescendo of tones around her, reverberating inside the walls of Woodlake Baptist Church in Lafolette, Tennessee.

Her liveliness was encapsulated in more than just her singing voice; she was an equally enthusiastic cheerleader, basketball player and dancer.

Addisyn Grace Shetterly, 9, was accidentally shot and killed by her brother, her “Bubbie,” outside a pizza parlor August 8, 2018. Her uncle said he knows she is still “learning new songs as Jesus directs that heavenly choir” and “cheering on that heaven football team.”
