Late-night conversations come to an end
Her cousin remembered how she could always make people laugh with a “dumb, funny joke.” The two would have sleepovers, eat snacks and talk for hours on end.
Her friends and family described her as “a kind person with a big heart” who was “full of life.”
On Feb. 3, 2019, Yuliana “Yulie” Garcia, 17, and two of her friends died in what officials said could be the “worst mass-killing” in the history of Palm Springs, California. The teens were found in a crashed car with gunshot wounds a few blocks from another gunshot victim.
