Tyler Devon Evans

Age 18

Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Here one minute, gone the next

He was described as “caring, goofy, lovable, someone you could always depend on, ¨a caring young man who was talented at basketball and a forever friend.

Police say it happened at 11:11. A make-a-wish kind of moment on a clear, warm night, a time for wishes and hope, secrecy and innocence. But what neighbors thought was the end of a fireworks show turned out to be gunfire. By 11:12 p.m., he was gone.

Tyler Devon Evans, 18, was shot and killed on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
