Tramaine Da'Vonta Pate

Age 18

Saint Louis, Missouri

A lot in one small person

He often sported a hoodie and a smile. He was on track to graduate from high school.

Those who knew him described him as a kid at heart. He had puppy eyes. He brought joy and laughter to those around him. “This guy was a lot of things in one small person,” a friend said. He had a lot of nicknames, too: Traman, Tra-wizzle, TraSavv, Tra and Tray.

Tramaine Da'Vonta Pate, 18, was shot in the 4200 block of West Cote Brilliante Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri, on the morning of March 2, 2018. He died at the hospital.
