Sidney Victor Krow Jr.

Age 16

Worcester, Massachusetts

Spatulas and basketballs kept him grounded

“He entered my world right around supper time and ready to eat,” his mom, Kenya Krow, wrote of his birth. His passion for food grew with him; he helped his family at Addie Lee's Soul Food Restaurant and aspired to study culinary arts.

A sophomore at the Gerald Creamer Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, he welcomed each day with a bright smile and positive attitude. He could often be found playing basketball at a neighborhood court or listening to music.

Sidney “SK” Victor Krow Jr., 16, was fatally shot Saturday night, May 26, 2018, in Worcester while walking with four friends to a house nearby.
