Samuel Tesci

Age 18

Vero Beach, Florida

A jokester. A fiancé. A father-figure.

His fiance, Kayla Glinski, described him as funny, warm-hearted and caring.

“He loved to make people laugh,” she told The Trace. She fondly remembers watching him playing in the pool with her infant son, holding the little boy just above the surface. “I remember thinking how amazing he was and how I can’t wait to have kids of our own one day,” she said.

Samuel Tesci, 18, was shot and killed in Vero Beach, Florida, on July 13, 2018, in what police say was a botched robbery attempt. Three people were charged with felony murder in relation to his death.
