Robert Carranza

Age 17

Tulare, California

He liked to post song lyrics

He conveyed his mood by posting song lyrics online. Anything from Mexican corridos to rap would capture his attention.

He’s remembered by those close to him for his sense of humor. “Funny guy” was one of his nicknames. He was also loyal, and didn’t let the opinions others had of his friends sway his own.

On August 11, 2018, shots were fired at a house party in Tulare, California. They hit three teenagers, leaving two injured and one dead. Robert Carranza was just 17.
