Lamitrias White

Age 16

Toledo, Ohio

Always helping neighbors with their errands

“He’s walked that neighborhood all his life,” his aunt said.

The Toledo, Ohio, native was a good, sweet, goofy kid. He always wanted to help out around the neighborhood with errands. A 16-year-old student, he was a handyman at Waite High School, where his favorite class was woodworking. His aunt said he would often volunteer to do yard work.

On July 23, 2018, neighbors saw Lamitrias “Little Man” White shot on his front porch, yelling for help. He was taken to St. Vincent Medical Center and died from head and chest gunshot wounds.
