A row of auburn houses with lush green trees line both sides of a street in East Garfield Park, Chicago. Outsiders might mistake the West Side neighborhood for peaceful, but residents know that area is rife with violence and crime.
A teen known as “Lil Dee” was there on an early Saturday morning. He was known to his friends for being funny.
Ladarius Wallace, 17, was found dead in a yard from a gunshot wound to the chest on West Carroll Avenue in Chicago on June 16, 2018.
