Father who never held his child
He was looking forward to the birth of his daughter; he had just picked a name. He played football at Westinghouse Academy in Wilkinsburg, a suburb of Pittsburgh.
In a place once called “America’s Most Livable City,” where police were already doing extra patrols because of gun violence, he went to an abandoned building to smoke. He had had problems with one of the people there in the past. That evening, that person pulled out a pink semiautomatic 9 mm handgun.
Khalil Andrew Logan, 18, was shot and killed in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 10, 2018.
