Josue Omar Gold

Age 15

Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Chef or banker? No choice now.

He was a lovable, goofy 15-year-old boy who wanted to become a chef — or a banker.

His family called him a jokester, “the life of the party.”  Behind that outgoing personality, he had big dreams. "Never would I thought I would have got that call," his mother said. "The streets are not sweet.” After it happened, "It hurt. I've been crying all night,” his brother said.

Josue Omar Gold was shot in the head while in the passenger's seat of a cherry red Honda Accord at 6 p.m. June 22, 2018, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
