As a brother to four siblings, he was an unwavering source of hugs, advice and support. As a grandson, he always had a smile to share. And as a father, he held an infinite well of love for his 8-month-old infant, Cylus.
“Jordan always had a good heart and made sure everyone was straight. That’s why you can depend on him for anything,” wrote Paola Mendoza, a friend.
Jordan Christopher Martin, 18, was killed while trying to save a stranger in a triple shooting on July 30, 2018, in Antioch, California. “He gets killed for being a good man,” Mendoza said.
