Teen cared about his friends, family
He may have got caught up in the wrong crowd, but he always cared about those close to him. He enjoyed fishing and swimming. His friends and family loved him.
“It feels like it’s not real because we were just with him,” his best friend Alyssa Carter told The Victoria Advocate.
Jerimiah Xavier Hernandez, 16, had not been seen by his family for 24 hours. Reports of a red truck led police to a field in a residential neighborhood in Victoria, Texas, where they found Jerimiah dead. He was killed by a gunshot wound on Sunday, August 4, 2018.
