The first-grader was a bright, outgoing, smart kid who loved to talk to others. He was always smiling and talking about the new movie he watched and new words he had learned. His teacher said he was someone who knew how to love and love well.
Six years old, Isaiah Hill-Jefferson was a student at Snow Hill Primary School, where they had to teach his classmates how to deal with grief. On April 10, 2018, he and his grandfather were shot by the boy’s cousin in the backyard of a home. Isaiah was taken to Vidant Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.
