Won’t see his son grow up

He lived in Alabama and graduated from Huffman High School in May. He had recently become a father to a boy.

He had a silver sedan and was driving down the Elton B. Stephens Expressway in downtown Birmingham, Alabama, on Saturday, July 28, 2018.

Herman Gordon Jr., 18, was shot that day by an unidentified driver. According to Alabama Media Group, Gordon was Birmingham's 62nd homicide victim in 2018 and the 94th in all of Jefferson County. He was pronounced dead at the scene, losing the chance to watch his son grow up.
