Kids will grow up without him

When his daughter was born, he could not stop looking at her, swaddled in a white blanket, safe in her mother’s arms. Six months later, she was his mirror image, with dark curls and big eyes. He loved her and his 1-and-a-half-year-old son infinitely.

With the guidance of his grandparents, loved ones say he was an amazing dad. He was always there to take care of both his kids and his grandparents.

E-Marion Troy Lynn Walker-Black, 16, was fatally shot on Jan. 20, 2019, in a Walmart parking lot in Renton, Washington. His daughter cries in her sleep without him.
