Dwight Manning

Age 18

Dallas, Texas

A child left without a father

His friends affectionately referred to him as “Lyl Stank,” “Glizzy,” and “Nino” and remembered him as a “cool” young man. In a photo a friend shared of him, he is confidently tilting his head back and staring straight into the camera.

He had brothers and a young child. He had just entered adulthood, turning 18 six weeks before he was killed.

On Thursday, November 22, 2018, Dwight Manning was shot to death in Dallas and found in a field, shoved under tree branches. It was Thanksgiving night.
