Never made it to friend’s party
His daughter was the key to his heart, a sentiment he punctuated with a heart-eyed emoji.
On more than one Facebook post, he proclaimed that she was like his “twin,” with many hearts decorating the white border. His last post was on March 23. It was about a friend’s birthday party, called “Hustler’s Ball,” to take place the next day.
The police responded to a call at 3:55 a.m. on March 24, 2018, on North 33rd Street in Milwaukee. Deavin Campbell, 18, was fatally shot before the police arrived. He never made it to the party.
