Baby will never know her mother
She was the mother of a 10-month-old baby girl named Hope. Her mother, Wendy, described the 18-year-old as her “first love” and a “good person.”
Days earlier, they were preparing for her birthday celebration. Wendy spoke to her daughter on the phone, and her daughter said she would call her back. "That's the last time I talked to her, and then she never called me again,” Wendy said.
Daniela Fernanda Medina, of Nashville, Tennessee was shot in the chest, allegedly by her ex-boyfriend, in the parking lot of Rolling Hills Apartments. She died at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center on the evening of Jan. 9, 2019.
