He was goofy and loved to skateboard.

Some called him “Bubba.” In one photo, he winks while wearing a gold chain and a black knit hat with the red “100” emoji. The student at Barberton High School in Barberton, Ohio loved to fish. He was a caring and thoughtful boy; he “would do anything to help someone.” 

Christian Blake Smith, 15, was shot on August 9, 2018 when a 19-year-old accidentally fired the gun at him while playing with it. Smith was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
