Months waiting for newborn cut short
His loved ones knew him as Kiki. With thick, curly hair in one photo, he sat in a red shirt and jeans with his arms around Leyda Perez.
He and Perez, his girlfriend, were expecting their first baby boy, Javen Christian Jimenez, in less than a week.
But days before becoming a father, Christian Jimenez Santos, 16, was chased down and shot in the head in San Antonio, Texas, on December 5, 2018. He was later taken to San Antonio Military Center, where he died four days later.
