Anastasia Daisy Louise Ray

Age 18

High Point, North Carolina

Just days from being a mom

She was a recent high school graduate, and soon-to-be mother. Described as a beautiful and loving person, she spent her life surrounded by a large, happy family.

Approximately eight months pregnant, she wanted to name her son Kaiden. She was going to be a great mom, her own mother said

The night of Aug. 6, 2018, as Anastasia Daisy Louise Ray’s mother was out shopping for her first grandchild, shots were fired into Anastasia’s uncle’s house in High Point, North Carolina. Anastasia, 18, was inside. She was shot in the head and killed. So was her baby. It happened 51 days before her baby was due.
