VantaBlack drew him as part of the artist’s Memorial Portrait Project to raise awareness about gun violence. A hint of his personality comes through in the illustration. Nicknamed “Ace,” his friends described him as funny, kind and sweet.
Alex R. Sena, 18, was one of two victims killed in a drive-by shooting near Northwest 111th Street and Northwest 14th Avenue in Miami, Florida, on April 15, 2018.
