He was a seventh-grader at Wunderlich Intermediate middle school. He loved being outdoors and he especially loved reading about history. He was always learning. He was playing with his half-sister when her dad came home.
The father had a felony warrant out for his arrest. He had a gun.
Phillip Isaiah Bernal and his half-sister, Sarah Nicole Wolfe, were shot and killed by Sarah’s father in Jacinto City, Texas, on July 12, 2018. He was 12 years old.
