Meigan Lin Collier

Age 14

Columbia, Tennessee

Should have been a fresh start

She lived in an immaculate home in which her mother homeschooled her, her brother and two sisters. The neighbors described the family as “exceedingly private.”

She had only lived in the home for three years, for her mom had relocated her and her three other adopted siblings in the aftermath of her separation from her husband.

Meigan Lin Collier, 14, was killed by her mother on Oct. 15, 2018 in Columbia, Tennessee. Meigan’s mother fatally shot her and her three siblings, before taking her own life in their home on Carters Creek Pike.
