He’d spent his life around guns

He was dedicated to helping local community organizations in North Carolina, his home state.

He volunteered with Saving Grace K9s and Hands of a Sportsman, and was a part of the Alexander 4-H Rifle & Shotgun Team for three years. He was a Troop 274 Boy Scout and in the JROTC program at his school.

On June 11, 2018, in Alexander County, Jeremy Kyle Law, 17, died after he and a friend were playing with a handgun that unexpectedly went off. He had graduated with honors from Alexander Central High School two days earlier.
