She had a wide, toothy smile and a strong bond with her older half-brother. They were inseparable.
In 2012, her father was arrested on an aggravated battery charge against her mother. When she was 2 months old, her family was visited by the Florida Department of Children and Families. When she was 5 months old, her mother attempted to file a restraining order against her father.
When she was 22 months old, Dove Lindsey was shot and killed by her father on June 11, 2018, after a 21-hour standoff with police. Her brother, half-sister and half-brother also were shot and killed.
