Damon Jamal Perlie

Age 18

Baltimore, Maryland

Protected and provided for his siblings

“If he loved you, he’d protect you,” his aunt, Sabrina Little, said.

If he was going to the store with a dollar, he would split it with his sister. He would also buy his sister lunch when money was tight, Little recalled. “Whatever he had, he’d share with his family.” After his older brother was shot in 2017, the first homicide in Baltimore that year, his relatives worried they’d also “see him on that Murder Page.”

And on May 16, 2018, they did. Da’Mon “Dell” Perlie was killed in the Boyd-Booth neighborhood of Baltimore, four blocks from where his brother died.
