A FaceTime call went tragically wrong

It was around 11 a.m. on Wednesday. He was home alone, on a FaceTime call with a friend.

He began pointing something at his head.

BANG!

His friend told a 911 operator, “I hung up immediately. I was going to check up on him, but then I realized I should probably call the cops before I went to his house.”

His friend also said that his buddy “didn’t know there was a live round in it.”

Zachary Taylor Walton died on August 29, 2018 in Mount Carmel, Ohio, after accidentally shooting himself. He was 14 years old.
