Tyron Cherez George

Age 17

Hartford, Connecticut

His beloved Air Jordans rest, unworn

His clothes, glasses, and Air Jordans always looked perfect, living up to his nicknames: “Fly Guy Ty” and the “Polo Prince.”

He loved eating breakfast at the Ranch House and meals at Benjie’s Jamaican Restaurant. However, nothing could trump his mother’s cooking. He thought it was so delicious that he was always trying to convince her to open her own restaurant. When he wasn’t eating or spending time with his beloved family, he was playing basketball, singing or dancing.

Tyron Cherez George was shot and killed in a parking lot in Hartford, Connecticut, on May 11, 2018, two weeks before his 18th birthday.
