An empty seat in 200 Hall

His mother looked forward to the rest of the world discovering her son’s potential.

His English teacher adored seeing his “sweet and smiling face” in the 200 Hall at Mount Tabor High School. He always took the time to be caring toward other people.

On November 7, 2018, Tyrese “Reese” Tamil Davis, 17, was shot at the Cambridge Apartments complex on West 23rd Street in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He died of a gunshot wound to the head at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. His mother created a GoFundMe asking for help in paying for Tyrese’s homecoming service.
