Tylon DaJaun Batey

Age 14

Lebanon, Tennessee

So much family left to grieve

He left behind his mother, two fathers, three sisters, four brothers, grandmothers, grandfathers, eight aunts, five uncles, a nephew, two nieces, and many other family members and friends.

He grew up playing softball on local teams in Lebanon, Tennessee. On an online tribute page, friends, family, and community members celebrated his 15 years of life. They remembered him for his love of dancing, infectious smile and sweet nature.

On April 15, 2018, Tylon DaJuan Batey was shot and later died at Tennova Medical Center, almost a month shy of his 16th birthday.
