Trametria Griffin

Age 18

Memphis, Tennessee

Memphis teen left trail of photos

With her bold magenta hair, she poses in the mirror and snaps a confident selfie. In another photo, she grins, wearing sunglasses, a white striped shirt and light blue shorts.

In 2013, The New York Times covered education reform measures at her old middle school, Westside Achievement Middle School, and she was photographed laughing with friends in the classroom.

Her last Facebook post was on Sept. 30, 2018: “I loved you, when I didn’t even love myself.” That same day, Trametria Griffin, 18, was killed in Memphis, Tennessee, after being shot by an unknown assailant.
