They all cried outside Tommy’s apartment

They called him Tommy Tom. He was an older brother. He would’ve graduated from high school a year early.

His sister, Monica Wallace, said he wanted to make his family happy. Friends and family described him as funny and caring. He could have become anything he wanted to. His future was bright, and he was going to make his family proud.

Tommy Leigh Thompson, 15, was shot and killed at the Apache Manor Apartments in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on March 8, 2018. His entire community was overwhelmed with grief.
