Thomas Williams

Age 8

Grants Pass, Oregon

Memorialized with Star Wars and Pokemon

Three of his loves could be seen through shirts: he wore a green soccer t-shirt. The community wore “Star Wars” and Pokemon shirts to honor him.

He had just finished second grade at Manzanita Elementary School. The school was shocked to hear of the incident. The last time something like this happened in the town was three years ago.

Thomas Williams, 8, was shot to death by his mother on July 8, 2018. She pulled the trigger on her son in their home in Grants Pass, Oregon, before killing herself.
