Thomas Demond Brown Jr.

Age 16

Dallas, Texas

Nice kicks on his feet, always

At Sunset High School's Moonlight Masquerade, he was decked out to the nines; the sleeves of his white jacket, embellished with orange flames, read, “Savage Youths.”

Nicknamed Lil Drop and WeeWee, he had a knack for style and always “kept some nice kicks on his feet.” He loved the colors red and white.

On Dec. 4, 2018, Thomas Demond Brown Jr., 16, was shot in the face on Bickers Street in Dallas, Texas. Police have charged a suspect with manslaughter. Brown’s family made sure he was “dressed to the T” in his shiny red casket, which was decorated with red and white roses. He was buried surrounded by friends and family wearing the same colors, in unity.
