Big, loving family missing a son

He came from a big family, filled with love. He had two brothers and seven sisters.

A student at Pike High School, his mother called him a gentle giant; he had soft features and big brown eyes. “He was a good kid,” she told Fox, her voice hoarse and laced with tears. “He was loved too much.”

At 11:00 p.m. on June 8, 2018, Shawn E. Goliday, Jr., 17, was shot in the stomach outside Wyckford Court Apartments in Indianapolis and later died in Eskenazi Hospital.
