Shots rang out in Conrad Park

The John F. Kennedy High School junior dreamed of becoming a hairstylist or a police officer.

“Her father will never be able to walk her down the aisle. Her mother will never be able to help her do her hair for her wedding," her aunt Natasha Butler told WDSU NEWS. “That's got to be the hardest part.”

Selicia Asia Nabor, 16, was pronounced brain dead and taken off life support after she was shot in the head while attending a party at Conrad Park in New Orleans, Louisiana.
