She would never graduate high school
She was going to be a seventh-grader. She wanted to become a lawyer when she grew up.
“She was definitely one of a kind. … My daughter will never graduate high school. This is the closest thing I have to a graduation picture,” her mom, Nyeisha Brown, said with tears in her eyes as she showed a photo of her daughter from the year before.
Sakhya Monea Bentley, 12, was accidentally shot in the chest on June 6, 2018, by a friend who was playing with a gun in her home on Adel Lane in Riverdale, Georgia.
