“Best” uncle killed at street party

He “was the best uncle” to his two year-old nephew, and as a “loving, caring” person he would always put others before himself.

Working as a landscaper, he had planned to return to school in the near future to pursue a career that would better his life. However, events that took place at a party he attended changed those plans.

On June 23, 2018, after Robert Silva, 17, witnessed shoves and fists thrown at a street party, a gunshot struck him as he stood in the crowd. He was pronounced dead hours later in a hospital.
