Age 15

Mountain View, Alaska

Sweet, caring brother to 13 siblings

A freshman at East Anchorage High School, he was known as “a sweet and caring brother” to 13 siblings.

When a younger brother fell off his bike, he was there to help: “He protected us and took care of us.”

On July 20, 2018, Reynaldo Khotesouvan, 15, was shot and killed in Mountain View, Alaska. Prosecutors later said the suspect confessed and “attributed the shooting to gang conflict.” His family decided to hold a vigil where Reynaldo died. "I was just going to pick up my son to go camping, and now I'm planning this," his mother said.
