Omarion Mekhi Sparrow

Age 17

Jacksonville, Florida

Only eight days of being 16

He was commonly known as Chucky Sayso.

He could have been a loving uncle; his nephew DJ was about to be born. The Andrew Jackson High School student had a large, affectionate family. His sister reflected on how much she loved their “arguing [and] the endless laughs.”

At around 7 p.m. on Oct. 21, 2018, Omarion Mekhi Sparrow was shot and killed on W. 45th St. in Jacksonville, Florida. His funeral was held on November 3. He had turned 16 years old eight days before he died.
