Natalie Genevieve Gulizia

Age 14

Renton, Washington

She was trying to protect Nicky

She had gone through a lot over the last two years with her little brother, Nicky, including their parents’ divorce and a custody battle.

The Kennedy Catholic High School student previously attended Hope Lutheran Middle School, in a close-knit church community in West Seattle. The church described her as “an extremely well-loved young lady.”

One Tuesday night, she and her father came home to find Nicky bound by zip ties, and her mother holding a gun. She called 911

On December 18, 2018 in Renton, Washington, Natalie Genevieve Gulizia, 14, was shot in the head by her mother.
