His mother’s Facebook profile picture is a selfie of him. He’s in her cover photo and in an Instagram collage, a handsome young man with a quiet smile.
On Dec. 27, 2018, a resident of Dyster Street in Boston heard screams. His wife heard them next. Their 9-year-old grandson woke up from the sounds.
Myssiah Pledger, 18, was found shot and killed inside a car on Dyster Street. The next day, friends brought candles to the scene. "He's just a really close friend, but I thank you guys for being here," said a friend who asked not to be named.
