Marshall Aaron Mitschelen

Age 17

Colorado Springs, Colorado

A good friend, a beautiful smile

He was always there for his friends. When his best friend crashed his car, he comforted him, even though he had recently lost his own mother to cancer. They hugged and said that their friendship would be lifelong.

His “beautiful and infectious smile and laugh” could fill up a room. He was loud, energetic and outgoing.

Marshall Aaron Mitschelen, 17, was killed on May 9, 2018, when a friend accidentally shot him in his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
