Police, medics tried to save him
“Practice what you preach:” That’s what the intro on his Facebook profile read. Just one day before it happened, he shared a post that posed the question, “NO DISRESPECT … BUT WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE DEAD RAPPER.”
He went to J.A. Fair High School and graduated in May. In late November, he was at Eastview Terrace Apartments in Little Rock, Arkansas — 11 miles from his alma mater.
Mark Oathel Riller, 18, was shot several times at the apartment complex on Nov. 26, 2018. When police arrived, they provided first aid, as did medical personnel. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
