He acquired the nickname “Nudie” as a kid because of his refusal to get dressed.
He continued to be goofy as he grew into the role of a big brother; he was the third of seven children and often took care of his younger siblings. He was the son who bought his mother a Christmas card.
On Dec. 24, 2018, Kwavon'tia Gregory Thomas, 18, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died in his brother’s arms in a CVS parking lot in North Las Vegas, Nevada. He was murdered on Christmas Eve, allegedly by another teenager who was angry about an old social media feud involving a girl.
