His sister had died a year earlier, and he had six siblings left to love. He attended Elizabeth Forward High School, home of the Warriors. 

One summer night, he got into a fight in a dark alley. It ended with two gunshots. One missed, striking a bystander in the leg. The other hit its mark.

Khai're Charles Cole, 17, was shot in the head and killed on June 12, 2018, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania.
