Kevin Robinson

Age 15

Saint Louis, Missouri

To the future: Bigger. Better. Gone.

He was a high school student with a round face and black glasses. He had a 4-year-old sister. His mother had just gotten engaged one month before.

He was a “respectable young man.” To others, “kind beyond compare.” His family was walking down a bright path: “To the future. Bigger. Better. Greater. 2018,” the engagement post read.

Kevin Robinson, 15, died on Feb. 22, 2018, alongside his mother in the hallway of his home in St. Louis, Missouri, shot with a 9mm gun by his mother’s fiance, who later shot himself. His sister was found upstairs, alone and physically unharmed, pretending to be asleep.
